Brevard County New Year’s Eve Guide

With all of the holiday hustle and bustle, we’re making the hunt for the perfect New Year’s Eve plans easy on you. Here’s our list of all of the fantastic Brevcard County events planned for December 31!
Whether you’re in the mood to keep the celebrations low key with an elegant meal, or take things up a notch with live music and dancing, our guide is sure to help make New Year’s Eve 2011 one to remember.

23rd Annual ‘Rockin’ The Dock’ New Year’s Eve Party: Join the thousands of revellers expected to ring in the new year at the 23rd Annual ‘Rockin’ the Dock’ New Years Eve Party at the Cocoa Beach Pier. The Pier is again holding “5 parties in one” at the historic Cocoa Beach landmark that stretches 800 feet in to the Atlantic Ocean. Each of the restaurants and bars on the Pier will feature live entertainment, champagne toasts, balloon drops, confetti canons and television screens showing other great parties simultaneously occurring around the world.

TropStock New Year’s Eve Party: Celebrate the New Year among the sun, sand, and stars. Indulge in an unforgettable escape this season in the shining heart of Cocoa Beach and kick off 2011 with a truly timeless celebration that simply can’t be missed. Don’t miss our pre-party on NYE on the pool deck from 5pm – 9pm with live entertainment, cash bars and meals a la carte. Then get it all started with our TropStock New Year’s Eve Party featuring Jim Morris and the Big Bamboo Band with Captain Josh Ramsteck. Join us from 9pm to 2am and enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, two live bands, dancing, party favors, cash bar, and a champagne toast at midnight. We’ll also throw in a late checkout at 1pm on New Year’s Day for no extra charge, so you can relax and recover from the night before. Saturday night rooms start from just $89 per night.

New Year’s Eve at the Zoo: Ring in the New Year with our animal friends. The night is sure to be spectacular! New Year’s Eve Bash at Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront: Celebrate in style and bring in 2012 with us at the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront. Join us for our 3rd Annual New Year’s Eve Bash, hosted by Timmy Vee and the WA1A Crew & DJ Shane Entertainment! Enjoy this oceanfront party featuring gourmet cuisine, hors d’oeuvres, and cocktails from Jack’s Seafood Bistro, and dance the night away to fun music with friends and family.

Cocoa’s Family Friendly New Year’s Eve, 401 Riveredge Drive, Cocoa, FL: Ring in the new year at this family and kid friendly event on the banks of the Indian River Lagoon.  Kids can experience the countdown and balloon drop, see entertainment and participate in a variety of art activities.  $5 to participate in all activities, adults are free.

2nd Annual A. Max Brewer 5K run/walk and Family Fit Fest: Kick start getting fit in the new year by attending the this annual event at Sand Point Park in Titusville. Hosted by Sculptor Charter School, The Family Fit Fest is a free event with local vendors providing free health screenings, fun activities & health and wellness information for all to enjoy. Downtown Melbourne’s “New Years Eve” Street party: Downtown Melbourne will be hosting a featuring one of the most well-known names in the music industry. On Saturday, December 31, The Nappy Roots joined by Kaleigh Baker will ring in the New Year.  The show begins at 6pm.  Expect plenty of food vendors and activities for kids! Parking and admission are free. Both the Fairfield Inn & Suites Melbourne and Residence Inn Melbourne are offering a rate of only $99 a night and they’re only blocks away from party central!
