Brevard Happening this Weekend: July 20-22

Beyond a trip to the local cinema to experience “A Dark Knight Rises,” what else have you got planned for this weekend? What’s that? Watching TV and tinkering with your iPad in your pajamas? Unacceptable!  There’s too many great things to do in Brevard not to get out and do some of them. Here are just a few of the great Brevard events and activities that are happening on the Space Coast this weekend.

“Just What I Found You” Art Exhibition

Featuring works by Danielle Horak, Olivia Rogers and many more, as well as the return of “Doodle Wars!”

Talent Show

7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Auditions happen on Fri. and Sat. Finals on Sunday, same place, same time. Winners receive up to $1000 in cash and prizes.

Tour De France Party
Bob’s Bicycle Shop, Indian Harbour Beach
7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Celebrate the world’s biggest bike race and watch highlights on our big screen. Giveaways, libations, raffles and more.

Supervillains 4th Annual Beach Bash
Noon – 2 a.m. (the next morning)
Sports Page Bar & Grill, Satellite Beach
Brevard County’s largest pool party ever. 14 bands, VIP after-party.
$15 in advance. $20 day of event. Text “BEACH BASH” to 90210 for new ticket deal.

Space Coast Symphony Orchestra: Rachmaninoff’s Second Symphony
Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, Melbourne
7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
A musical experience that is NOT to be missed!

Summer Saturday Nights at Brevard Zoo
Brevard Zoo, Viera
5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Spend an evening with the animals after the sun goes down.
$5 for non members, free for members.

Cocoa Beach Farmers Market
Cocoa Beach City Hall
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Fresh local produce, homemade goods and lots of other great items for sale.

Manatees vs. Cardinals
Space Coast Stadium, Viera
5:05 p.m. – 8:05 p.m.
Hometown baseball at its finest. Come out for a game!
Tickets are $7.

Musician’s Swap Meet & Jam
The Captain’s House, Palm Bay
1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Food and drink vendors, live music and the chance to sell and trade your equipment.
Admission is $2 for the general public, free for kids under 12.
