Here’s your chance to fire your own “shot heard around the world.”
Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club will be hosting Project Appleseed marksmanship clinics on the weekends of June 16-17, August 18-19, October 6-7, and December 15-16. The programs aim to bring back the traditional skills of the rifleman to a new generation of Americans.
For these events, the courses of fire are shot with .22 repeating rifles. For more details, check here:
The Appleseed shoots are family events that provide top-notch instruction coupled with stories about the men and women who fought the war for independence from Britain. Project Appleseed is produced by the Revolutionary War Veterans Association, a not-for-profit educational foundation dedicated to keeping alive the heritage of those who put their lives, families and fortunes on the line for the cause of liberty.
Costs for advance registration is $70 for the full two-day program and $45 for a single day. The cost for women is $10, and for minors under 21 the cost is $5. Shooters can register at the door if slots are still available, but the costs are slightly higher.
